Brandvertising - the modern world's biggest identities go head-to-head
Here's a really fascinating graphics project by Romanian designer Stefan Asafti who has taken some of the world's most competitive brands identities and looked at their visual influences on each other.
Stefan says "It is surprising how logos can influence other logos. The truth is that each pair of rivals has something in common, that something which has helped them to build one identity upon the other, this way becoming the biggest brands."
A really interesting concept and the overall result are some stunning pieces of design.
Top job Stefan!

Halo gets gold
Halo's integrated (and may we say very cool) advertising campaign for Essex County Council - 'Drive Essex' - has won Gold at the CIPR awards in the Integrated Campaign Category (*ahem*).
This campaign uses a really interesting mix of traditional and ambient media and features a special build billboard, an anamorphic installation and a viral game.

Kinect Contortionists
Microsoft has launched a print campaign for the Kinect, their 3D motion capture device designed to work with the Xbox 360 video game console. The images depict people fitting into the shape of a traditional Xbox 360 controller, illustrating the Kinect slogan, “You are the controller.” Love it.
